Privacy
MetaMindr is a small, invite-only tool. We treat your data like our own. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we store
- Your Zenfolio username and password, encrypted at rest. We need them because Zenfolio doesn't expose OAuth.
- Photo metadata we discover from your galleries (titles, captions, keywords, gallery names, photo IDs).
- AI-generated captions and the prompts used to produce them, so you can audit and re-run them.
- Your approve/reject decisions for each photo and any metadata edits you make.
- Billing records — credit balance, top-ups, and per-run cost ledger entries.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
- We don't train models on your photos. Photos are sent to the vision provider you pick (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or your local Ollama) only for caption generation.
- We don't load third-party trackers, analytics SDKs, or advertising scripts. The site has no external network dependencies at the browser layer.
Vision providers
When you start a captioning run, photos are sent to the vision provider you select. Each provider has its own privacy and retention policy. Ollama runs locally inside our cluster and never reaches the public internet.
Read-only mode
Approved metadata is written back to Zenfolio only when you toggle off Read-Only Mode in Settings. Until then, MetaMindr makes no changes to your Zenfolio account.
Deletion
You can disconnect your Zenfolio account at any time from Settings, which removes your stored credentials and clears your SEO profile. To delete your full account and all associated data, contact us and we'll handle it within seven days.
